Manistique Office: John began his insurance career in 1978, and acquired the agencies in 1985. John handles commercial and personal insurance as well as life, health, and annuity coverages. He has served on many company advisory committees over the years, and has received several awards from insurance companies represented. Sylvia Wood Sylvia has been in the insurance business in excess of 40 years and serves as corporate secretary/treasurer of Superior State, Inc. She is responsible for commercial lines activity and accounting/audit functions for the corporation. sylssa@up.net Mary has been in the insurance business in excess of 30 years and is the personal lines supervisor for all three offices of Superior State, Inc. Mary is also very actively involved in the automation issues of the company.
Jenea began her career with the company in January, 2000. She is responsible for a large portion of the personal lines activity in the Manistique office including sales, service, and claims. Greg Lindroth Greg joined the agency on a full time basis following graduation from Central Michigan University in 2007. Greg is licensed in both life and health insurance lines, as well as property and casualty insurance. his main focus continues to be in identifying solutions for individual and group customers in relation to life and health insurance needs.
Newberry Office: Hondo began his career in the insurance business 20 years ago. He handles commercial lines, personal lines (life and health) business for the Newberry office and is extremely active in outside organizations within the community. Cheryl Taylor Cheryl has over 20 years experience in the insurance business. She is responsible for commercial and personal lines as well as the accounting functions of the Newberry office. jdacheryl@lighthouse.net We were fortunate to have Jeanette join our Newberry team in April of 2009. Jeanette brings a wealth of talent in the area of customer service and handles home, auto and other personal lines of insurance. jdajeanette@lighthouse.net Jim is enjoying semi-retirement, but is still actively involved in the agency handling commercial and personal insurance as well as life and health. Jim brings over 30 years experience to the Newberry team. Munising Office: Ruth is the manager of the Superior Insurance Center in Munising. She has been in the insurance business for over 10 years and handles all areas of personal and commercial insurance. Kathy Church
Kathy joined the agency in 2004. She handles all areas of personal lines including claims administration, policy placement and customer service.
